Today we spent time exploring Broken Hill. It was raining a bit.
We went to the Miner's Memorial on the hill. This was very interesting. People started mining here in the 1890's. Such a hard life they must have had.
Here there is a Lookout over the whole town which was amazing.
Then we went to the Living Statues just outside of town. There were 12 statues done from blocks of sandstone.
We went to Belle's milkbar built in the 1950's and had a milkshake.
After lunch we went to the Pro Hart Gallery. Wow! I love his artwork. We bought a jigsaw puzzle. Should be fun to do.
