We left at 8.30 and travelled 321 kms to King's Canyon. We stopped at a rest area for morning tea and saw a dingo calmly walking around. Not at all frightened of people. We arrived at King's Canyon and had lunch. Then we went to the helicopter pad and got on a helicopter for a 10 mi. fly around the canyon.It was pretty spectacular. The land is so vast and to see the line of hills in the background is very special.
We came back to the camp and sat outside our vans watching the sun set over the crags of the canyon. It was beautiful.
Then we cooked a bbq and sat down and ate together.
