We left Broken Hill at 8.40 this morning and travelled through some very dry and barren land on the way to Port Augusta. We travelled 410km today. We had morning tea at Yunta and lunch at Orroroo and we passed through the quarantine section into South Australia.
Soon the landscape changed with more green grass. The beautiful Flinders Ranges were standing in the background. Just before Port Augusta we came over the hill and there was the sea. It made an absolutely beautiful scene.
We got into the caravan park and met up with Marlene and Phillip. The daytime weather has warmed and hopefully so will tonight.
